OTHER I was born in a small town in New Zealand called Waihi, but didn't start playing squash till my family moved to Hamilton when I was 12. I was introduced to playing by my parents and have a brother who was also a national junior champion and senior representative.

As a junior I won the NZ U/17, U/19 and U/21 titles as well as Irish U/19 and Oceania U/19 titles and 3rd at the World Juniors teams event in Sydney.

Since leaving school I have mixed playing squash with studying at Auckland University (Bachelor of Commerce in Information Systems and Graduate Diploma in Marketing) as well as working for 3.5 yrs at Air New Zealand as a graduate management trainee.

Since March 2006 I have become a full time squash player and loving my new career!! Meeting lots of people and travelling to numerous countries has been the most enjoyable part.

Making the NZ Commonwealth Games team and finishing 4th in women's doubles has been a highlight so far as well as finishing 2nd and 3rd in the World Women's Doubles Championships.

From May 2006, I have based myself in Amsterdam under the tutelage of Liz Irving, and currently split my time between New Zealand and Netherlands. In February 2007 I won my first WISPA title at the Finnish Open.
